Outer Banks vacation

I'm planning vacation for 6 people in outer banks for this summer and I'm looking for vacation rentals. Wifey said she wants to go out and eat and maybe do a little shopping. All men want to do is drink and fish. I need something beach front so I can surf fish at night. I never been to outer banks before but it seems Nags Head is the place for me. Any recommendations or suggestions?

Fishing during the summer is a lot less fulfilling than the fall season, but you can still bring in some.

 

 

Personally, I prefer Topsail rather than the OBX, but that's just me, and it's a 30 minute drive from mi casa.  The fishing is better up North, but the homes are more expensive during the high season.

 

 

Nags head is pretty solid if the ladies want to get out and about, but the surf is a little more powerful up there, and if little kids are swimming around, you need to keep an eye out.

Don't go to the Outer Banks. That's my advice.

I wanna go deep sea fishing... OBX is only 40 minutes boat ride from the drop.  Topsail is probably good 90 minutes.

As one who goes to Wilmington multiple times a year fuzz is correct. For fishing just go with dudes but for families stay south. Wrightsville is awesome.
