Griffin's a good QB who's just not very durable. His accuracy his rookie year was outstanding, and even still solid his 2nd year. Don't get the hate towards him.

Dont hate him. Im pulling for him because he has been put facedown in the dirt by the media. Extremly quick, fast, and accurate when he knows who to get the ball too.

I have a feeling things were a little dumbed down for him his rookie year. He was able to be accurate because a lot of it was a one read, maybe two and run. Take away his legs, and we all saw what happened

Redskin fans hate him because it is well known around Redskin country that he simply doesn't put the work in to be a starting QB in the NFL. Many fans are questioning his desire to play the game. He appears to be on a very short leash. Sucks that so much people hate him because he is an all around good person from a great family. I hope he is able to turn it around.

Systematically cheating on your wife does not count as "great" IMO.

take away the run game or the slant off the read and the dog is dead.

He's not accurate. People just assume he is an accurate thrower because he had a high completion percentage. That was simply because 90% of his passes were WR/HB screens, dump offs, check downs, or 5 Yd slants.

His accuracy and completion percentage of passes beyond 5 Yd is rather pedestrian.

Not true at all. If you watch him play you'd realize he has above average accuracy and an amazing deep ball. This year and last year were different than his rookie year because his footwork and mechanics went down the hill after he got hurt. His rookie year he was outstanding. His biggest weaknesses are decision making, and looking off his first read, and now after the injury, his throwing mechanics and footwork. Accuracy is one of his strengths. And in Shanahan's offense, they did not utilize screens, dump offs, check downs or slants much at all. Alfred Morris never caught passes. They had a great scheme that utilized the tight ends and the x receiver (in that case, Pierre Garcon) down field. Griffin and Shanahan (Kyle) made Garcon look like a dependable #1 WR, which he isn't. A lot of that offense was built around the run, however, allowing WRs and TEs to get open so he had it easier than others, but he was absolutely accurate. His year with Gruden is a whole nother story.

Perhaps this response that I gave to you in the thread a couple of weeks ago will give you some insight.  RG3 is not as good as you are making him out to be the past two seasons.

Bob 3 brought all this stuff on himself. He first bought into his own hype---something McNabb warned him not to do. He thinks that he can get by on athleticism, and as such probably isn't as good of a student of the game as he should be. He got hurt, and instead of just sitting out, he goes back in---like the football Jesus he thinks that he is---and worsens his condition to near catastrophic levels. Then, after all that, he comes back too early again and blames his poor play on injury.

And, BTW, his play at the end of the year was mediocre at best.

Just like Magic Johnson said today on Mike & Mike, RG3 needs to worry less about his brand, and more about improving his mechanics AND becoming a better leader.  He used to talk the talk when he was the media darling, and everything was going great.  But things kind of catch up to you when you suffer some adversity, and as opposed to adapting and changing to meet the demands of a pro QB on and off the field, you just continue to sip your own Kool-Aid.

He was sold short by the Skins, they cashed in on all the gimmicks and didn't bother teaching him how to play the position. I could almost feel sorry for him if he wasn't such a douche.
