Random Panther Memories

Mr. Scot

He did something similar in the Super Bowl after the pass to Moose. IIRC, a Pats player bumped him after the play and he turned and pointed at him and shouted something with a fiery look in his eyes.

It was to Rodney Harrison.

The WFNZ guys asked him years later what he said. Jake said "I think I asked him how his mother is doing."

Beebe played.  He even started one game (14 receptions on the year).

I'm pretty sure someone else did what you're talking about.  I just forget who.

We signed Freddie Jones from Arizona one year but he retired in training camp before ever playing for us.

It was a rb. His card is in the first set of cards printed for the Panthers. I have it somewhere. Bought it in Clemson before the 1st game.

Vinny Testaverde. His first game off the couch and he throws a huge TD to Smitty, and beat the Cardinals.

Damn! Memories for sure. I was 13 years old and took my buddy on the left to his first NFL game. Ill never forget Deangelo breaking off a huge run and Adrian Wilson running him down from behind. One of the fastest dudes ive ever seen post-9286-142414076425_thumb.jpg

who could forget this one:

Carter led Dallas to a dramatic victory for the second time in three weeks, turning a 13-0 deficit to the Carolina Panthersinto a 14-13 victory by throwing an 80-yard touchdown pass to Joey Galloway with 3:55 left, then a 24-yarder to rookieAntonio Bryant with 56 seconds to go.

Barry Foster perhaps?

I still remember when I heard he was coming to Carolina.

Yes! And he didn't retire, we cut him in training camp. But I have his Panthers card lol.

Traded by the Steelers to the Carolina Panthers that offseason due to his exorbitant contract, Foster was cut in training camp after failing a physical and never played again.
