It really depends on the type of QB.  Cam, Wilson, Kaepernick, RGknee are all helped by their speed, in fact it's a huge part of their game.  Peyton, Brady, Brees  don't need to rely on their athletic ability to open holes in defenses.

even those slow guys know when to tuck it in and exploit voids in the defense for first downs.

QB speed is so overrated and I'd rather have 30-yard gains out of the pocket than having my QB tuck it in after his primary read is covered. those hits add up and don't necessarily equal wins anymore than the not so mobile guys.

as hard as Cam throws the ball, any receiver with questionable hands should be taken off our draft board.

if we could dump Tolbert and draft FSU's FB/TE O'Brian would be a good way to go in the later rounds to replace Tolberts huge cap hit.

I like Strong a lot too.  Strong and Hardy were two who stood out to me at the combine who weren't really guys I was paying a ton of attention to prior.

 

I wouldn't be mad at all to take Strong in the 1st and a guy like Devin Smith in the 3rd.  I still want a true burner and despite "only" running in the low 4.4s, there's no one in college football right now who takes the top off of defenses like Smith.
