Thanks Deangelo and WBTV! Panthers now public enemy number one.

Does it occur to anyone else that analysts avoid mentioning the Panthers when they talk? And when they do mention it they avoid going into details. Now it's gonna get even worst. We might have to pay just a little bit more to get free agents here. Top notch free agents, that is.

Free agents don't listen to poo on the media.

They come in and first thing is see the size of the check. Shortly after that is the role they will play.

The media saying the team is a bunch of meanies doesn't really come into play.

Huddle is starting to aggravate me these days and the reason why most of you live pathetic lives. This is a business, but this is also just a game at the end of the day. The only thing the Panthers have had going for them over the last decade was being a nice family organization. The same team that sends out text alerts snitching during games and don't allow you to get too loud or stand without having security called. The same organization that doesn't go after good players with any kind of baggage. The same team and league that adopted the wear pink for breast cancer and put on a halftime shows like they actually give a fug but when it's time to show up nobody came? Who gives a fug where it was or what time it was, we're talking about millionaires who can go wherever the fug they want with ease. The fact that nobody showed up in that front office is a joke. And you can smile and say you like that business person of Gettleman all day long, but the fact remains we only won seven games last year and weren't competitive for most of the year. We weren't a good football team last year, just the best of the worst. A no class move by the Panthers. Don't think stories like this have an impact on free agent signings. Two offseason in a row the panthers have shown a pattern of 0 class. Sad

Meh, in the end I watch sports for the W's and the L's, entertainment, and as an outlet to talk smack that I can't get away with in everyday real life. Players will play where there's money and to a lesser degree, a chance to win. People wake up and go to work everyday to jobs they hate, working for companies that are unethical. This story will disappear on the national radar like a fart in the wind when free agency and the draft roll around.

It doesn't occur to anybody else because it doesn't happen.

For those actually paying attention, the Panthers are getting more positive talk this offseason than they have in a while, in large part because they ended their season with a nice run and a lot of good feelings.

This story won't affect free agents coming here, or much of anything else unrelated to DeAngelo Williams.

(a description that can now accurately be applied to the Panthers)

Your average fan is very similar to a teenage female.

When a star bats an eye to the, they will follow that fan blindy.

It's a bit concerning when you consider these same people vote and perform jobs all around you.

Free Agents only care about the money! They have a window and plan to make as much as they can as they sell their bodies. The only non-monetary factor in deciding where to play will be the uprooting of their family.....and that's a small factor when the price is right.

Only dumb fans actually think players take this poo personal when it comes to deciding which team pays the most. Could the F.O. had handled this different? Sure. But how do we know how Dwill handled Jerry's personal issues? Maybe he never gave a poo about Jerry? Respect and compassion are two way streets

    • summary: "let's talk about your draft, what did you think about Freeling" Dan:   guys with a huge upside, can come in and compete to start.  High ceiling "he does what for your offense?" Dan:   it's hard to find left tackles, guys that big and athletic.  We have Icky coming off an injury, we signed Walker, I believe your offensive line can never be too strong.  If we're going to win the game, it's gotta be up front on both sides of the ball, so we make a point of emphasis on making both sides of the front as strong as possible. "how many mocks did you see Monro falling to you." Not many times, left tackles are gonna go a lot earlier than when we took him.  We want to add the best player, in free agency or the draft"  that's our philosophy, to get the best players possible. "Hunter and Brazzell." Dan:  we followed the board.  Lee we felt very highly of him , super strong.  Brazzel so flexible and loose, can open the verticle.  Will Lee we held in high regard. "you take a look at your receiver room, Coker, my goodness, your offensive rookie of the year in Tet.  Lost Rico, but there is Jonathan Brooks. " Brooks coming off two knee injuries, he worked his way back, looking great, fully healthy, will help in pass and run game.  Icky, not sure when he's coming back but we're excited about both "plan on extending Bryce" we'll keep talking, will keep internally.  We believe in him, has such a great grasp of Canales and offense, has improved every year. "he's clearly come back from the benching, the arrow is trending up, where does he feel" Bryce knows where we stand with him, when and if a deal gets done, he knows we feel great with him, we'll get something done at the right time. "if this a prove it situation?" everyone in the building has to prove it, has to earn it. Tmac was everything we wanted, his work ethic, he's so big and talented, but he puts the work in, and is a great teammate. "your level of expectation, the building's level of expectation for 2026 "our goal is to win the division every year, we know we have to earn it.  we have to put the work in every day, proving it on the practice field, and our  guys know that." "schedule" we haven't opened at home in 2 or 3 years.  We love prime time games, hope we get some "
    • this one is gold:     Bryce has a cult inside the Panthers fanbase that has truly developed some NPC hivemind. I'll never understand how he's captured the true essence of the casual fan like that.
    • "everybody has to earn it, heading in the right direction, feel great about him, get it done at the right time"     Mother fuger
