Former Indianapolis Colt and Carolina Panther, Pastor Derwin Gray of Transformation Church in Charlotte. He was drafted by the Colts in 1993 and joined the Panthers for one season in 1998 (number 44).

he gave a stirring sermon this morning in chapel at my college.

Uh, oh

Christians gathering and seeming to be enjoying something...

Quick, make fun of them and belittle their beliefs!

Meh, that was shitty. Let me try again,

Cool, I love meeting ex-cats. Minter was probably my favorite, but Rucker and Dwite Stone are super nice.

I know right? They actually think the Panthers were around in the 90's? Everyone knows Cam Newton was the Panther's first draft pick ever.

i would love to meet Thomas Davis. he's kinda the Panther i look up to most. has all of Steve Smith's passion for the game and the Lord, the professionalism of Kuechly, an amazingly miraculous comeback story, loyalty to the organization and fans, and is just all around a good dude.

i was debating whether i should get a Newton or Kuechly jersey. ive changed my mind. #58 will be my first purchase.

nothing more frightening in the world than two or three Christians getting together for anything.

One of the coolest ex-Panthers I've ever met in person was Ricky Proehl. I saw him coming out of a K&W cafeteria... which i thought was strange.

I now frequent K&W .... and its awesome.

More fans should weigh their jersey purchases as you just did.

I use the shotgun approach. If it says panthers my wallet flies out and I own the item before I know what happened.

It should really be ilegal. Nothing good can come from it.

Ricky is awesome. I met him in AtL back before the NFCS Championship game.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
