These game threads, even when we win have become just too damn negative.

That is why I don't post in them much anymore. Not that anyone should give two poos whether I post or not.

Good win tonight. Kemba and Mo playing together will be interesting, but Mo is playing well enough that Kemba won't have to be Superman from day 1

Here comes my rant, sorry but must do it.

Ol' coach Cliff must have felt my hate reach such immense proportions that it crept into Time Warner Cable arena and farted in his fat bald face.  Watching Lance trip all over himself in the first half, my hate for him and the fact he gets playing time had manifested into a living thing that should be required to get a social security number and pay fugging taxes.

Not seeing Lance take the court the entire second half let me know that Cliff picked up my vibe.  The seething rage has cooled...for now.  But someone tell me why Cody and his double-double didn't see the floor in the fourth?  Was it because LA went small and kept Boozer and Sacre on the bench?  Who really cares, I need to find something to bitch about, that seems worth it.

And Biz, I love you bro, but you need to get your game back.  He definitely needs time to ramp up, but tomorrow night on a back to back against a team we're battling for playoffs, Al will need rest.  Please don't make Maxiel look like the better option, we all know that's not true.

As for you Brian Gordon/Roberts, you need to get your poo together.  Stop playing PG like a bitch, the second unit blows lately, and the turnovers are a big reason why.  This guy needs to protect the fuggin ball.  And Steve Martin has called him Brian Gordon many times this season, I have no idea why.  Dell must be growing tired of correcting captain dementia every night.

Alright, done, good win Hornets.  Next up - Brooklyn.

Marvin is in there because of #spacing even though like practically every free agent acquisition this season he's not very good at doing what he was brought in to do and the team is better off when someone else is there.

Teeray, you want to know why we're so negative in here? We're going down the stretch of the playoff race and our second best player is a guy that has been here for a week while the second unit continues to be awful (although finally, as Chaos points out above, it appears Cliff has finally seen the light and done something about it.)

Outside of Al, the every member of the playoff team from last season has improved and the bench is much deeper than last season. Yet the younger players never get minutes over the veterans that are dragging the team down and as a result, the team has been performing much worse than it was last season, at least to this point.

Perhaps most frustrating, every time the team appears to get its act together and gets a significant win, an injury to a key player or a lackadaisical performance seems to follow. I fully expect this to be the case should we get a win in Brooklyn tomorrow. Just can't trust this team yet.

How often have we been fully healthy?

Hell, the fact we are in the playoff hunt despite missing significant time from MKG, Al, Biz, Lance, and Kemba is a fugging miracle.

They are playing worse because they have barely played together, and when they have they have been playing hurt.

The constant bitching and whining in here is rediculous and is unbearable at times.

But that is just my opinion, and that is why I don't participate as much.

And I also know it has been a frustrating season at times losing a bunch of close games and losing big leads

I was at the game. Had a great time, particularly analyzing the Lakers' lone play they ran for much of the fourth that consisted of Lin bringing it up, waiting for a screen at the top of the key and going right for a jumper, to the baseline for a cross-court pass or a roll to the big man for a missed layup.

So glad we won. So, so glad we won. Mo's last free throw ended up making the difference. I don't care what the records are, it's a good night anytime the Hornets beat the Lakers.

Well at least it wasn't littered with "Big Al sucks, TRADE HIM!!!" posts.
