To be honest, I don't know how one would come up with this assessment before Pro Days and team workouts have even been going that long.  Perhaps this guy is privy to tape and info that we don't know about.  In any event, I am only really concerned with Gettleman's grades.  If he decides to trade back on draft day, then with all the second round graded talent, I will feel great about it.  

 

It just makes free agency that much more interesting, if not important.

I don't see how anything could be "consensus" at all with how different all the talent evaluators are. I guarantee you Gettleman doesn't end up picking a guy with a 2nd round grade in the 1st round.

Negative they say that every year and someone always manages to nab a game changer in the latter of each round. They could have tons of talent and no drive, and the later guys usually have insane work ethic. It all depends on how easy they are to be coached and how open they are to learn to become the best they can be.

Rotoworld Josh Norris is one of the few draft analyst in existence that still have Mariota going number 1.

This is why i am glad we have GM Dave Gettleman because one of his strong suits is picking talent in lower rounds, or even undrafted players that slip through the cracks.
