So was he good or was he bad? Thomas says Rotoworld had him behind Bell

He was decent last year and I think he's better than Bell (not by much though) but I think a lot of that was due to how good the rest of the line was. If the Cowboys thought Parnell was even close to as good as Free they would've tried to keep him over Free since he's younger, but they didn't. Not sure why rotoworld had it ranked like that but they did. Oher was like 10 spots below Bell though, so their ranking isn't saying much... Regardless I don't think Parnell will be a good starter and I think he got overpaid.

"Free is assumed to be the better player. He was a leader on the field and in the locker room. But he is also the oldest of the linemen, and obviously had injury problems. Parnell is three years younger. According to Pro Football Focus, the two graded out almost identically at +8.5 for Free and +8.7 for Parnell. Of course, PFF's secretive grading process is not the be all and end all of player evaluation. But if they are anywhere near close, then the team is going to be looking at the age, injury, and intangibles factor."---bloggingtheboys.com

He converted all 13 of his field goal tries with a 100% conversion rate that led all FBS kickers with at least 12 attempts. Fitzgerald was also perfect on his 14 extra points. He will compete with Matthew Wright for the Panthers’ kicking job in training camp. Harrison-Hunte went undrafted despite a strong showing at the Combine. He’s an older prospect who will turn 25 by the start of his rookie year, but he had just one season of sustained production at SMU after five years at Miami. Still, he earned first-team All-ACC honors in 2024 with 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks and will push for a roster spot in Carolina as an athletic interior disruptor.   more at the link https://www.profootballrumors.com/2025/05/panthers-sign-19-undrafted-free-agents
