They are in a sense that whoever has the most disposable income gets the best cards/players and thus wins more. No skill is needed, just money and tons of luck.

All things being equal skill is the driving force of both of these games.

As a guy who plays actual trading card games it's nothing like a trading card game. All these "cards" are representing is players. When you go into the actual game you are just playing with your players. It's no different then playing madden with a custom team of players. The players are just in forms of cards but it isn't even a trading card game. That would be like me calling kickball soccer because you kick the ball. The only thing they have in common is one thing but they are completely different.

It's really funny people not even playing FUT or "wasting their time on it" yet think they have enough knowledge on the subject to actually know what it is.
