Cam Newton's feelings on the Offseason

I wonder what they are? I wonder if he's excited.

We got Ginn back for him, and picked up Boykin for him who are both potential if not probable targets. One thing is for sure, because we know especially how this organization works. There will be plenty of competition at the WR spot. The only locks at the position are KB, Philly, and Jericho. Cam has to be happy about that, and we still have the draft to get even better at the position.

Then we have the recent Oline additions of Oher and now Martin. We all know how horrible we were at that position that year. While I'm not estatic about either signing especially Martin (who's known to be soft), but is young and was a 2nd round pick, so we know he has the talent. I think that the FO is really making a push to make sure that Cam at least feels that they have his best interest going forward. Again, we still have the draft to get even better up front. I'd love to see a Cam Newton with a bonefide O line for arguably the first time in his career. I think that we would all agree that would be terrifying for any opposing defense.

Bottom line is this. We're making the necesary moves to attempt to take care of our QB, and we're doing so on the cheap. We still need to address the Tackle and WR positions in the draft so that we stay young and deep at both positions.

As a fan, I'm loving what we're doing. I just would love to hear what Cam thinks about the moves. He has to be smiling right? I can't wait to see how we continue to build through the draft. I like the direction that we're headed!

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
    • Proper stud that would look even better if they could upgrade Scott. And get a resemblance of pressure on the QB
