Overdue Huddle debate: Gas or charcoal?

And then there is both.

I currently only own a gas grill, but I know charcoal is a far better way to cook overall.

My next grill will probably have both. I want to keep the convenience of grilling a quick dinner on a weeknight that gas provides, but also have the ability to do a nice weekend charcoal cookout. I would love to get into smoking as well. I love food way too much to not be doing this on my own.

Did this last night. My girls had somewhere to be by 7 so i used gas grill for chicken.

Only ever owned charcoal grills and don't intend to change.  My friend owns a gas grill and while it's faster and easier, it can never beat the flavor a charcoal grill can provide.
