I'd like Flowers over Fisher but I am an unapologetic fan of The U. As to who is better or will be better? My opinion is so uninformed that it is invalid. They both looked really good in the combine (the only thing I watched) except for that weird stepping thing that Flowers did. But I would certainly be satisfied with either at #25.

I can totally see the Dupree thing happening.  Definitely have that suspicion someone goes for Fisher high...the question is who?  I'm thinking the NYG though they need some major defensive help.

I think some are selling Fisher short as he has a lot of upside and in the long run may  become the best one of the group.

I think if Peat is gone, it depends on what other players are there..... If Peat is there, it almost doesn't matter who else is there.... If it was between Fisher and Donovan Smith... Or someone like Agholor or Perriman... I would be tempted to go with the receivers here.

    • It's not sustainable,  although he deserve credit for the win also, as he made clutch plays as he does with every win we have.
    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
