I dont know how many time that it has to be said. There is no way that DGB was on our board. Just no way.

But yeah, we'd probably have picked Humphries in the first had both been available

Kind of like theirs was no way we were trading up?

gettleman Said in his presser that their guys Was Being tanken fast and it Was time to make a move.

Do you Think he would go out and say 'looking at the way the board fell, the organisation decided to change it views on domestic violence.' After picking DGB?

Gman was likely working the phones well before the DGB pick. Even if he wasn't, it's probably all a big coincidence. It had nothing to do with DGB, and everything to so with grabbing Funchess.

Gman's hands were tied by Jerry Richardson on DGB.

Kind of like they said this draft would be about speed...

We have 5 picks left.

We've added Ginn, first and foremost. That being said, we worked out Jamison Crowder and Marquez Clark, with 4.4 speed, maybe even 4.3 with the latter. Stephon Diggs has 4.4 speed, as well as The McBride who ran two 4.41s at the Combine.

There is still some legit speed out there, some with special teams ability to boot.

They never said the draft was about speed, that was the offseason and getting Ginn added speed. Added speed to ST as well.

Funchess isn't slow, he has a deceptive speed and didn't run well in Indy. He plays fast and that's what matters.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
