What's your worry?

My worry is Funchess being a legit #2 right away, otherwise we are stuck with an ever older Cotchery.

My worry is a KB slump which would completely fug us. The huddle has been spoiled and expects too much...from Funchess and KB.

LT is always a concern. Cam does not need to be injured directly because of this. Again.

Can stewy stay healthy? If not, we are fuged.

Shula

The division will not be won 7-9 or anywhere close.

On a positive note:

I honestly this shaq will come in and dominate our backfield and blitzes.

Can't get worse than Bell (although better is still very bad).

I think our coverage, especially man, although not used a whole lot will improve dramatically which helps the dline and more turnovers.

Dline will be beast

Rivera has more experience. This is his year, as is Cams. The south is set up for us. The Buccs probably need another year, the Falcons are easily deflated and are under new coaching, the saints have blown up.

Didnt read 4 pages to say this, so forgive me if its already been said.

According to Getts and RR, we drafted players based on their versatility and ability as several positions...giving a chance for our OC/DC and staff to draft schemes and match ups....and I worry that out OC (and staff) will not be able to use these players in a capacity to justify those statements.

My worry is that Cam wants to go to the Eagles. Would be perfect for him. He pays an agent to advise him and help him plan for the best NFL career he can have, much like people have financial planners. No idea if Chip Kelly wants Cam or not but obviously most here would agree he does. Gettleman didn't get us a QB prospect in this draft, so I'm hoping all his dollar store moves over the last few years are in preparation to thrown the kitchen sink at Cam so he doesn't leave

^^^^^ Getting Cam locked up long term. I know it will happen. I'll just feel better when it does.

LT- obviously Oher is a giant question mark- hope we can sign another vet during camp cuts

S- both- Harper was all over the map last year in terms of play, and Boston is inconsistent

QB- I have full confidence in Cam, I love him to death, but this is the year he needs to take a step forward and become one of the league's best if we want to go to the promised land.

Im truly a Gettleman homer and love what he has done since he got here. We still have holes and worries but I do not blame him for these holes. They will get filled little by little.

My concerns:

1. Shula- No confidence in him. I believe that if we still had Chud or somebody with his ability we would be so much better off.

2. LT - I think Oher is the biggest question mark. Hoping he regains form

3. RB - Do we have the 2nd string RB on the roster? Is Fozzy that guy?

4. Safety - Can Boston continue his play at the end of the season? How long can Harper play

Those are my main concerns.

Seconded.

Well, if we are being completely honest with ourselves, LT is a bigger question mark this year than it was last year. We knew Bell was not starting material at left tackle, but with Oher, and Martin, we don't know which player we are going to get unfortunately. This is why I would like to see as much competition as possible. We also need to solidify our OL as quickly as we can heading into the season so these guys have time to adequately gel.

Like just about everyone else I'm still worried about LT, I trust G-man's evaluation of Oher but I won't feel good about it until I actually see him play.

I'm also worried about our pass rush, CJ is pushing 30 and Addison has been our only other consistent edge rusher without Hardy. I have faith that Ealy will develop but it may take another year or two.

Pretty much what everyone else has said.

1) LT.  Oher basically being given the starting position has me worried.  After drafting Williams I have to wonder if Remmers might get a shot at the LT position.

2) CB.  Tillman hasn't played more than a couple games since 2012 after sustaining season ending triceps injuries.  How much does he have left in the tank?  Can UDFA Garry Peters play immediately?

3) Safety.  Harper was bad in pass coverage last year and the Panthers are still expecting him to start at SS.  Tre Boston came on late but got burned for TDs against Seattle in both games.  Will he improve?  There's not much behind them.

4) WR.  Funchess is the right pick but how quickly will he develop and see the field?  The WR position is head and shoulders better off than it was last offseason.

The team is better off than it was in 2014, but there's still some big question marks.  You have to like the continuity of the team carrying over from last season.  Just enough new players to keep things fresh.  Hoping Oher plays somewhere close to Jordan Gross's level and Tillman creates some turnovers and teaches that punch to the other Panther players.

I teally don't get this line of thinking at all.

There is zero evidence to support such a foom and gloom theory.

Cam has stated since his rookie year, that he wants to change the Culture with the Panthers, andbhe has reiterated every season his desire to be a Panther for life.

    • A lot of young QB's struggle with holding on to the ball top long. He has gotten better progressively in that regard. Pocket Time(in Sec):  2.5(2023), 2.3(2024), 2.2(2025) Time to Throw(in Sec): 2.9(2023), 2.79(2024), 2.82(2025) The divedends have been fairly small, is the issue.
    • I'm firing DC, though I think it actually makes the job less attractive. He's not prepared to be a HC and it's showed. A new HC is not going to be tied automatically to BY. He's going to want to bring in some level of competition in the QB room because anyone who has ever watched football knows our QB room is lacking. If he doesn't, that tells a more interesting tale of who's really calling the shots.  Dave hasn't been decisive enough in game and that leadership council BS has trust fall vibes. Our offense has been pathetically stale and vanilla. Our run game while good has made no sense based on who has been playing best. Our defense is improved but they can't be expected to hold opposing teams to below 17 a game because our offense can't score consistently.  We've beaten some teams we shouldn't have beaten, specifically GB and the Rams, and I think our record doesn’t accurately reflect where the team and the coaching really is. We've fallen flat against a geriatric rookie QB leading a 2-10 NO team and got our ass handed to us TWICE. We're unprepared for the biggest games.  This is what happens though when real coaching candidates turn down interviews because your owner is a narcissistic butthole. You get someone no one else bothered to call and you get the results everyone else would have expected if they had.
    • The Saints would be 2-12 if not for us. We are 50% of their wins. A organization serious about the playoffs does not get bullied by a sh*t team like the Saints TWICE. It's over my brotha.
