Fallout 4

Yes yes yes OMG OMG can't fuging wait. Finally a real reason to buy a next gen. It appears it's time to start saving. Ps4 or X1 research in the meantime. Also, I'd bet a new Elder Scrolls 2016 holiday...

They put a lot of time between releases, probably 2017 for ES6. You've got a year of DLC after FO4 this fall and then a goty edition that fall, then an E3 teaser and finally the release of ES6 if they keep with the 6 year difference between major releases.

If you're not getting it on PC you're doing it wrong.

Normally I'd agree and for things like online play I use the PC.

But I like vanilla single player, always have. Mods are fun but they're not how the game was meant to be played by the developers, and I rarely play a game more than once just because I am so thorough the first time.

CF96- You're probably right but I will wait patiently as always...at least FO4 will be released to keep me busy. I forget about DLC and what not, but financially that would make sense to wait a year longer, just wishful thinking.

I'm really hoping bethesda has learned their lesson about such ridiculous durations between games

i understand not wanting to rush, and to allow hype to build

but 3-4 years is enough,  beyond that the frustration starts to set in. Lot of gamers start to move on with their lives, etc etc

Learned what lesson?  Each Elder Scrolls outsells the last and the popularity of the franchise has been boosted a ton with every major installment since Morrowind.  It's not like Skyrim was met with a ton of negative feedback or something.  That poo sold like hotcakes along with near universal praise.

Those are massive fuging games.  It takes a long development cycle to complete one of the titles, especially since every major installment is a complete upgrade over the last one and not a quick rehash money grab like many sequels.  They don't take their time to intentionally piss people off or build hype, they take their time so they can put out a quality product.  Even after all that dev time the games are still usually raw and buggy as hell during it's initial release before all the patches come around.

    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
