Under Armour is winning right now

The Golden State Warriors won their first championship in 40 years capping off a magical season in which point guard Stephen Curry won league MVP. You could also make the case that he should have won finals MVP.

Jordan Spieth won his second major of the 2015 season becoming only the fourth player since 1958 to win the first two majors to start the season. Spieth is currently the 2nd ranked player in the world behind only Rory McIlroy.

And I live in Baltimore, HQ of Under Armour...coincidence?

Side note...why does Under Armour spell armor like a Brit? The guy is from Baltimore.

Never mind. Google is your friend:

"Oh, and the reason we added the 'U' in 'Armour' is that I was skeptical at the time about whether this whole internet thing would stick," Plank told The Post. "So I thought the phone number 888-4ARMOUR was much more compelling than 888-44ARMOR. I wish there was a little more science or an entire marketing study behind it, but it was that simple."

Also, Auburn is an Under Armour school.

Auburn was the first major college to sign a deal with Under Armour.  (Actually, Maryland was, but Maryland doesn't count IMO because the owner and CEO of Under Armour is a Maryland alum.  Saying Maryland signed with Under Armour is kinda like saying Oregon signed with Nike.  DUH.)

Connection to Auburn:  Cam and CAP.

    • Does this mean only topics from within the last year or any topics with posts from the last year? i.e. if there are any old threads we feel should be kept around for whatever reasons, would a bump of that thread before the update ensure it's kept around in full or do the posts from more than a year old still disappear?
    • I'm more intrigued at him becoming our future LG. There were some people who thought he was better suited to be a guard in the NFL to begin with.  Then if Freeling ends up being a legit LT, moving Ickey to LG could give us an incredibly strong left side of our OL for years to come. Ickey has only played on the Left side his whole career, both in college and the NFL, so I just wonder if keeping him on the left side, even if shifting inside, would be better than putting him outside on the right side. Just hoping him growing up a Panthers fan will make him want to stay here and move positions than enter FA so he can stay at LT somewhere else, particularly since LT is the big money position on the OL, so he likely can get paid more by someone else to play LT than play LG or RT here for us.
