Inked him up before others could smart. Everyone saw the drive and play this kid had. Not replacing kemba. I'll put a very good football analogy for you guys. Kelvin Benjamin as kemba. Any other pg as god. We have a tier 2 point gaurd and you all want to replace him. You guys are just like if he isn't Steph Curry we should kill him. It's like you guys want to tank

It's Chicken Little Syndrome. Fans of this team get emotionally attached to shitty players because we feel connected to them more than good players, so we resent the good players we have and want to get rid of them for more lovable shitty players. And when our disgustingly adorable nucleus of trash hits the court and sucks, we lovingly call for the head of the GM and the head coach.

This times a million. I have a buddy that praises the crappiest players for their 4 point performances because "of what swell guys they are." Averaging 7 points and 6 rebounds doesn't convince me Cody Zeller was worth the #4 overall pick, but gosh, what a great guy!

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.

      Get off my lawn 😡 Reid coached Vick for a while. It helped, but ultimately Vick was still Vick. One of the maxims I swore by for years was to never sign a free agent QB from Reid's system because they never looked the same anywhere else. Would that apply to Mahomes? 🤔 Difficult to say. I might lean no, but it applied to McNabb. Doubt that theory ever gets a true test, though.
