I think Tolbert is also a waste of a roster spot.   He cant block that well.  And maybe we could get a WR.   Hes a hybrid RB we don't need more RB's we need a WR that can catch TD's that hit them tight in the hands.

We save 2 mill for cutting him. It's a real possibility we cut him...or at least I believe it should be.

Cotchery has value as a player, but for that to mean anything, weve got to make a move for somebody capable.

Pair him and Funchess with some consistent talent from another team and we will be okay. I just dont know that i believe that this team will do it.

This has got be one of the densest coaching staffs I've ever seen.  Leave Corey in to help his confidence but you left him in too long then he got booed.  He's just not making the plays he needs to make.  Sends a bad message not taking out a player who's failed to perform.  I'm not saying you've got to cut the guy but don't continue to feed him the ball.  You've already tried that repeatedly and it clearly didn't work.  Try again next week.  smh

I was going to touch on this, idk man clearly something is going on here. He might have been a fluke last year, but I know he's not this bad. I dont wanna give up on him, but I don't want to let others sit

Even with all the problems, we're still leading in all the stats... obviously not the score, but that's not really representative of the play in the half.  We SHOULD be in the lead if Corey could catch the ball.

Now that's a stat-line that makes a Ron Rivera and Mike Shula stiff in their pants.

That score poo doesn't matter, we're DOMINATING time-of-possession!

    • Most teams OLs are dealing with injuries at the end of the season. So by that token all QB play should be horrific across the board, but it's not.  Using the OL as an excuse anytime a QB plays bad is just lazy.  This is the same OL when Bryce had his good games not so long ago.  So do they suck just when Bryce does bad? Obviously they played well enough when y'all were doing your victory laps and saying 'you told us Bryce was the man' in the victories. It goes back to my stance with Bryce all along...he's a low end starting QB.  He'd be a great backup. Bryce is going to have a few really nice games a season at this point in his career, with a few WTF games mixed in, but very middling overall.
    • Good Lord! I bet the O-line play wasn't the worst since 1980.  And @thebdawg, injuries absolutely can make for a bad showing at the end of the day. That's not an excuse, it's just a fact.
    • Defense stepped up after that and held them to a FG. Offense proceeded to turn it over on downs right after.  Was it an incredibly dumb penalty, of course it was. The defense played their asses off though and got zero help from the offense. If you force them to punt at that point instead of the penalty do you really think the offense does anything differently?
