Luke out Tommorrow

I actually appreciate him creating this thread, otherwise I would not have known Luke was out tomorrow.

The OP in the other thread has not been updated and I don't want to go through multiple pages to find news like this.

Yeah, I really wasn't clear in what I meant in my post. Of course this is a useful thread. "That guy" in this context meant the "we were talking about it in this other thread" guy. A discussion six pages deep in a different thread really isn't that helpful to most people...

wait, so did he not pass the concussion protocol and the neurologist ruled him out, or is rivera holding him out as a precaution?

As far as I can tell, we do not know that yet. Voth/Jones/Person have only said that Luke has been ruled out for the game. Nothing specific about the concussion protocol.

It's likely a similar scenario like with Newton last year, where Rivera, and staff decided to sit him out just to be cautious.

Jumping to conclusions is a little silly. but that's the huddle. Just give him the week to rest, he will be fine.

    • Many teams looked at the drop-off as a reason not to select him in the first round.  Going into the 2024 season he was listed as a potential first round pick.  Morgan, IMO, based our pick on what he did in 2023 and expects him to play at the weight he played at Purdue. Morgan did this twice in this draft.  Scourton and Evans.  saw one stat on Evans that he had 58 ypg in one of his previous seasons.  Plus Notre Dame has a history of good TEs that can catch and block. Canales will 3 good TEs that all will see time on the field.
    • Supporting Bryce is based on continued growth, which he has shown. If he regresses to the state he was in last year in the first two games? Then it is time to move on. The issue is that he HAS shown growth and the haters are trying to assess him as the player prior to his ascension. And they seem to almost be rooting for his failure. It's sad.
    • Amazing game.  Lotta credit to Hellebuyck for hanging in there
