Where was the RIOT?

My biggest concern coming from the game with the Texans wasn't the typical question marks.  My question was it just me or was B of A empty?  The crowd seemed into the game and a couple of times I noticed that Bill (the coach of the texans)  had to hold his headphones down to his ears as it seemed he was having trouble hearing over the noise of the crowd( or maybe the connection was bad, which has been pointed out).  The crowd noise is a big factor in home games and if such small numbers can make that much of a difference a packed house could really be a game changer, but where was everyone at?  Was it because we were playing a low caliber foe, or did the majority of the fans leave?  This is just me being curious, but one would think at the home opener there would be a full house for this  one?  Just seemed to have far to many vacant seats.

And this concerns me because this is an actual problem that the fan base can solve for the organization.  We cant go play receiver but we sure as hell can BRING A RIOT.  I have seen this, been a part of this and when we fail to do this up to our capability it leaves me a bit disappointed.

If I had to guess, I'd say the majority of the fans went into the concourse to avoid some of the heat. Heard many stories on the walk back of ppl falling out yesterday.

as a fellow rioter of the twin city crowd i know they were probably the sole reason of any crowd noise i heard.  But i expect every fan to live up to this,  because if your a diehard fan you scream till you cant and you should leave the game equally as tired as our players who fight for us.

Basically all the club level folks on the away side went inside because it was too hot and the sun was sitting on them.

You had to be at the game shoulder to shoulder sweaty leg to sweaty to fully understand how hot it was out there....  It was hotter then some of those early games in Clemson...  I give the fans a break for yesterday...

I know it felt like training camp in spartanburg on the field. It was brutal.

I heard it was pretty damn hot yesterday. If people were going down because of heat exhaustion, I give them a pass. 

I mean a referee had to sit down because of the heat. It was hot.

the sun was relentless yesterday. a few clouds broke it up, but it was easily one of the hottest games I've been to at BofA. I like sitting on my side of the field though cuz when it gets cold, the sun is on you more.. but during September? good lord

Ok, hearing about the heat makes me feel slightly better about the near empty club level.

Of course the TV announcers, one of which was Greg Gumble, commented that it wasn't that hot, "only 83 degrees". Later the color guy did mention that it probably felt much hotter on the field.

It may have been 83 at kick off but it got near or past 90.  One of the hotter games, only one I can remember being much hotter was the Patriots game in 04 or so.
