Does vs Aints strike anyone as a trap game?

I'm hoping the fact that it's the Saints will override any trap game possibility, but this game just reminds me so much of last year's Pittsburgh game going in.  We were 2-0 and riding high, and the Steelers were reeling coming into that game - looking like they had the worst defense in the league.  We all know how that one went.

We will be ready that you can count on.  This is a divisional game and both teams will play hard.  They embarrassed us at home last year and we embarrassed them in the dome.  Players have had this game circled on both sides.  This is definitely not a trap game for anyone.

As for me being overconfident, when my attitude has anything to do with the final score then I may change it, but for now we are going to embarrass the Saints and I can't wait.

I just don't see it. This team has had 3 years of ups and downs. They've literally been through it all and in my opinion, hardened and ready for success. I don't think the vets on this team allow them to overlook anyone and the young guys seem to buy into the idea of preparation regardless of the opponent. That's not to say they don't play poorly and lose games, but I don't think they'll overlook anyone on the schedule and definitely not a division rival at home.

The Saints will be the worst team to play for the NFL in decades if they take the field next week without Drew Brees. Even with Brees I love our odds, but without him they have almost no chance in hell.

While there are no gimme games in the NFL, this is about as close as it gets.

Not quite.

We were pretty awful in 2010.

Like really awful.

Like by far the worst offense the NFL has seen in the modern era awful.

Did Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell switch Teams?

Cason, White and Decoud still in the secondary?

Chandler, Bell, Amini and Velasco starting on the OL?

Apples and Oranges bro.

I guess my point was that the Steelers weren't as bad as they looked at the beginning of last year, and it's possible that the Saints aren't as bad as they've looked in the first two games either.  I hope they are, but who really knows this early in the year?  I'm just uneasy because they are reeling and will be a desperate team on Sunday.  I just really don't want to be their "get right" game.  Hopefully, the team will come out strong and quell my fears.
