I really wish Shula would steal GB playbook.

It's a picture perfect playbook for Cam. Shotgun with built-in run options, run options that have built in pass plays.  Hell even a play that uses his TE to read the coverage and options for coverage.  Now that's the difference between a good OC and a bad one.

GB's playbook is 90% quick LOS screen passes. That is nowhere near a good playbook for Cam.

Um sorry no,  I'm watching them dismantle the Chiefs and it's not 90% short passes. Some of you have no idea of what a great OC can do.

QQuick snaps for deep balls, hard counts, quick passes for man,  multiple formations, and moving guys all over the place.

As much as people here don't want to admit it.

Aaron Rogers >  Cam Newton.

Green Bay WR > >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Carolina WR.

Who here hates to admit that? They're both obvious and everybody knows it and has been saying the same thing. Nobody is delirious enough to think Cam is better than Rodgers or that our WRs are better than theirs and nobody has any problems admitting it since it's obvious to anyone with two eyes and a brain.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
