OK, let's say we fire Shula...does anybody really believe  that the next OC won't be running a ball control offense, just like Rivera wants?

I don't like Shula's offense, but I've always said that his shitty offense style is EXACTLY the offense that Ron Rivera prefers.

You ain't wrong there.

I really hate Shula, we are never going to be a Superbowl team with him.

It's almost like, after the rain/the early scores, the team wasn't interested in moving the ball well, and going for the jugular.

The run game sucks. Yes, even/apparently against TB. So if the Panthers want to win (at least against this team), Cam has to be involved.

Sometimes I think our defense forgets that the point to try to stop the other team from getting a 1st down. Interceptions are nice, but let's just stop the drive sometimes, eh?

I'm also blaming the peanut punch for the piss poor tackling. everyone is going for the ball and guys are running through arm tackles

Why does everyone say that? He could have had Shula as OC his first year but brought Chudzinski,  who was the anti Shula. We need a happy medium.

I mean we did have Chud

If the panthers want to win a SB, get rid of Shula and Mcdermott, letting Ron take over the defense with his scheme cover 2, no more of this zone bullshit sean brought from philly, hire somebody to consult about what to do with ST, and dave need to put more focus and effort into better the offense but it starts with bringing a more up to date offensive mind

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
    • Burns at 5-6 seems....a little aggressive.
