4-0 vs. poo

If we come back from the bye and beat the Hawks, I'm all in but as of now we have yet to prove we're a legit team. It is what it is.

So you want to wait till we win against a "legit" team before you are all in?

You are the definition of a bandwagon fan.  Matter of fact you are worse than a bandwagon fan...

If that's what you are waiting for just pick a team that has "legit" wins then support them.

Drunk or not ...you disgust me.

Looking at the three undefeated teams in the NFC, Green Bay has beaten the following.

The Bears who finally won a game today.

1 win Seattle.  Maybe they are better than their record, but we don't know that for certain now.

1 win Kansas City

1 win at god awful SF.

Atlanta has beaten

1 win Philly

Horribly inconsistent NYG

1 win Houston

Cowboys after they lost Romo and White

So I fail to see why only we should be worried about beating bad teams and they should not.

I'll be the drunk negative nancy here, the realist, anti-fan whatever you guys want but let's put this into perspective.

Jags

Texans

Saints without Brees (their only player left)

Bucs

None of those teams are even close to playoff caliber teams. I don't understand why everyone is so ecstatic. Is this what we've been reduced to? Hoorahing over beating up on arguable the 4 worst teams in the NFL? That's sad, and someone has to point it out. I mean look at these teams we are playing...they're garbage.

Good teams win the games they are supposed to win, we've beaten every team on our schedule so what else are the Panthers supposed to do?  We lose games and you complain....we wain games and you still complain.  Sheesh!

Typical wet blanket post from a typical D-bag poster.

ONCE AGAIN, let me set the record straight for the negative nancies who don't understand that you can't look at the surface of an NFL season/schedule/box score and know who a team is.

2003:

Beat a Jacksonville team that finished the year 5-11 by 1 point (we were down 17-7 at the start of the 4th)
Beat TB by 3 in OT and they finished the year 7-9 (they had just blew out the Eagles. They finished3rd in the NFCS. Tied game in the 4th, then we kicked the game winner).
Blew out a Falcons team that finished last in the NFCS (came into the game 1-1 on the season)
Beat a Saints team that finished 8-8 (they came in to this game with a 1-3 record...we won by 6...because Rod Smart, basically).

And that's JUST the first four weeks of that season. No wins against a team of playoff caliber and all but one of those games was down to the wire.

Calm. The fug. Down.

If in June, you told me we would be 4-0 without KB, Luke, CJ and Cotch. I would have called you crazy. So saying we are at 4-0 at this point, I will take it, because everyone is coming back except KB until next year. Cam is playing lights out .... Do I hate some of the play calls .. YES!! ... Do I want the offense to be more efficient ... YES!! ... But I am so happy that we are 4-0

Could it be we make these teams look like poo?  Nah, couldn't be.

That's the point many miss. If the Bucs won today they would have been 2-2. Not exactly the worst of the worst. The same applies had the Texans won, or the Saints.

They are bottom tier teams, in part, because we contributed to their poor records.

And what if Seattle loses tomorrow? Will they be viewed as the next scrubs on our schedule?
