I'm hyped, I'm stoked, and as always I love our team... But, here are my concerns going forward and some observations from yesterday...

He has valid points.  It doesn't matter the record, there are always things to worry about and discuss, that's what being a fan is about.  Devin "Honey Funchess-o-Drops" truly has been bad.  He made some good grabs LATE in the game, but has been terrible this season.    I am hoping he turned a corner right there.   I still agree, there was better options than Funchess in the draft but it is what it is and we should have at least got Cam WR help in FA when there was some cheap vet options available.

He's also right about Harper on Graham.  I didn't understand that, at all.

And you for reading my entire post and getting me, Zax.  Few thins piss me off more than e-fandom measure contests and people doing so based on their own arbitrary rights and wrongs when it comes to how to view our team.  It is fuging stupid.  As I've said a million times before, I love this team like it was engraved in my DNA, and nothing will change that.  I'm gonna be here till the end And I wish people would understand that this is a message board for true fans to discuss and debate their concerns and views regarding the team.  This disposition to trash anyone and anything that utters any concern is mind boggling to me.  I state my concerns because I want them to be heard and I want our team to be without any true weakness...  And how boring would it be log in here everyday and read "yay! We're perfect! *tugjob*" from every single fuging poster registered here?  Lol...   Apparently that's what some people want.

Anyway, I'm happy we're undefeated and excited for our prospects going forward.  This is one of my happiest and proudest moments as a Panthers fan...  I just figured we could discuss possible areas of concern and observations without name calling and chest beating, but nope.

Cam sure made quite the statement yesterday if DG was on the fence about trading for a WR. Cam proved this team is capable of winning now and that a legit WR could really be the difference maker.

Damn is it tough not to think about what could be if we had a healthy KB...

Seriously, if San Fran would take something low for Boldin, it would be HUGE for us.  He's still balling over there even with Kap throwing it.  His toughness would be great to have out there.

what? (stone cold voice) i can't understand what you are saying as i can't read apparently.

Seriously dude we are just giving you a hard time, plus you have stated since preseason how bad our wr core is..You and others are just beating a dead horse at this point. News flash the team is sticking with what they got. Learn to accept it or gtfo.

I have accepted it.  I stated it again in hopes of discussing adjustments or improvements that can be made with what we have.  Or maybe, Funchess can (or did) turn the corner with that final drive?   But again, i listed other concerns (lack of shaq, Roman Harper on graham), and almost as many positives and things that I'm proud of...   I just expounded on the concern of Funchess and the WR group. Yes, the post was long, but if people aren't going to read the whole thing, then why even respond?  The same dudes that have been trolling me picked what they wanted out of it and tried to turn it around like I'm trashing our team or am being a   dick.   It's just ridiculous.

The coverage of Graham was concerning. Not sure how many times at the Ale House we were like "WHY THE FUG IS ROMAN HARPER COVERING GRAHAM".

But hey, it worked out and I'm sure McDerm will learn from it.

On the other hand, it seemed like the Seahawk WR's had hardly any receptions. Didn't hear Josh Norman's name all day in coverage, which means he probably wasn't targeted.

Yep there's a few guys that could really help us and if not a WR there's a couple tight ends (Jared Cook and Vernon Davis) that can both still move and get downfield.

Thank you for actually responding with a thoughtful response, CK...

To be clear, I guess the theme of what I was getting at with my concerns is that my overarching concern is that the things we got away with yesterday shouldn't be written off because we're 5-0.

Again, despite my detractors responses, don't get it twisted, I am ecstatic.  Despite my concerns, we are indeed undefeated and as Mick Mixon said recently, "what is a worst undefeated team?  Would you rather be considered the worst 4-0 team or the best 0-4 team?"  so, at the end of the day, all that matters right now is 5-0, but these areas of concern are still the things our staff needs to focus on going forward to ensure the success continues...   That was all I was trying to convey, but I guess there is a certain word count where thoughts become lost in translation.

I should maybe just restrict myself to posts consisting of "yay!" from now on, as that appears to be the only acceptable posts lately.

Also you're getting a lot of poo with the way you presented your argument, not the message itself. Treat the huddle like a good looking woman and warm her up first. You can't just whip your dick out and expect a warm embrace.

Saying you didn't want Funchess and how he's been a disappointment but still came through in the end was the equivalent of saying "Your friend was hotter so I settled for you. I guess it worked out ok because you do butt stuff" Do you expect to get a second booty call out of that kind of talk? I sure don't. Same goes for positive feedback from a huddle post.

Presentation is half the battle my friend. People don't really care about what you have to say these days, it's all in how you say it.
