Cam Press Conference streamed live....

He usually seems pretty negative during these press conferences. Curious to see if he keeps it going. I read it as being focused but he seems annoyed by the media during these Wednesday pressers.

Not that way at all right now.

He didn't seem bad in that one. They probably don't particularly enjoy it though. People asking you the same questions re-phrased ten different ways, most of which you can't/shouldn't answer. The pressers are required, right?

Yea he's not negative as it were but honestly his body language is definitely that of someone who would rather be doing something besides talking with those people.....especially since a lot of the times its people like that who talk all this poo about him in the first place.

The parts I heard were him talking about how the Eagles coaches and players were saying that last years success won't carry over to this year vs our team because Cam is healthy...then Cam smiled and said yea...yea...you can tell hes in a much better place health wise and he just said that it allows him to do so much other things like "self scout" and watch more film instead of getting so much treatment just to be ready for the game.

Rivera is on now talking about Joe Webb...and how much he does for the team and how much he is willing to do...Rivera seems to really love Joe Webb

Rivera hinting that this year's game plan against the Eagles is going to be about the same as last years except that it needs to be executed better.

They asked Rivera if our home crowd could ever be as good as Seattles and he said it has been at times like during our home playoff wins and vs NE 2013...Dwan Edwards got hurt on a chop block...Rivera not happy about it and doesn't think it should be allowed. Ron is on one of the sub committees for rules...League looking into ways players can honor fallen friends, family, and so forth...without "flashing billboards"

It's kind of ridiculous that they are still legal on running plays(they are illegal on passing and kicking plays). They've been banned outright in college and high school for over 30 years.

The media asks the dumbest possible questions and they put their finger in the social media wind to figure out what to ask. Instead they should be an educated go between that can bridge the gap. Now they are just a guy or gal with access credentials and a Twitter account. The players can see through this. I don't blame them for being frustrated by the constant baiting for a sound bite or Twitter quote.

    • We agree here dawg. I'd love for Bryce to succeed as would all huddlers. I have not seen a single huddler hate Bryce for anything other than his play on the field / potential / skillset. He hasn't gotten any of the irrational hate having nothing to do with football that Cam got. And yeah I understood going into this season with Bryce again as there weren't a ton of options, but man we missed the fuging mark on upgrading at backup QB with someone who could actually push Bryce. Bryce had zero pressure on him with a 100% washed up Dalton being the only other NFL caliber QB in the system. That absolutely needs to change this offseason. Ideally with an actual starter upgrade but that seems extremely unlikely due to not having many FA options and a bad draft. But at the very least with someone like you mentioned, young/upside and/or day 3 pick in the draft.   Another note, we have a top paid and top performing OL, great young talent at WR incl. likely OROY, great RB group, average all around TE group, offensive coach with creativity in the system and good play designs (poor situational playcalling but still I put out current offensive coaching staff over Shula who held Cam back for instance). Not the absolute best situation for a QB to be in, but still a very good situation around him. And yet we have a bottom 8 offense (6th lowest points scored). Imagine taking a victory lap for a QB leading his team to the 6th lowest points scored in the league and the 22nd highest passer rating (despite being asked to do less than many other QBs; i.e. Bo Nix who isn't great either and has a slightly lower passer rating but Sean Payton actually lets him try to throw the ball deep and has him throw significantly more than Bryce). Crazy
    • similar to Atlanta and the NHL.  Atlanta has lost two NHL teams (and lost a minor leaguer).  Now there's another coalition pulling together another proposal for Atlanta to get an NHL expansion. While I'd like hockey to be back in Atlanta 'cause hockey is fun, I am skeptical that it'll happen based on previous teams' experience here alternatively: similar to Atlanta hosting a Major Tennis Tournament in advance of the US Open every mid/late summer.  Aside from the fact that Atlanta is said to be the country's largest Tennis playing city (with both USTA and ALTA, along with a number of side leagues) - playing tennis outdoors in Atlanta summer is miserable *and* they had difficulty attracting players... ticket sales were not good. So the Atlanta Open closed after 14 years.  They just couldn't make it happen, even if for all intents it appears to be massive tennis interest in the surrounding area.
    • So I saw where Luke was doing that show parallel to the game. Whatever it was, statcast something something, knew it would be a good watch. I don’t get ESPN any more but that would be one of the about few things I would watch outside of games.     He doesn’t fool around on the radio broadcast.
