We win when I win in Madden :)

Just finished the Eagle game. Won 38-7.  I play All-Pro with 8 minute quarters. It all ended up like I think it will end up tomorrow night with our defense stuffing Murray and making Bradford look like Bradford. Newton dominated of course, like I think he will and Stewart had a 100 yard day. So far this season, when I win in Madden we end up winning the following game.

Stats:

OFFENSE

Newton - 9/15, 244 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT (by Walter Thurmond), 60 Comp%, 116 QB Rating, 10 yards rushing

Stewart - 24 Att, 115 yards, 4.7 YPC, 1 TD, 1 Fumble

CAP - 5 Att, 38 yards, 7.6 YPC, 1 TD

Olsen - 3 Rec, 86 yards, 1 TD, (Longest Rec: 38 yards)

Ginn - 2 Rec, 125 yards, 1 TD, (Longest Rec: 69 yards)

Brown had a 6 yard TD.

Defense had 9 sacks lol. 3 by CJ (wish he wasn't injured :(), 2 by Allen. Then 1 a piece for Star, Short, Tillman, Kuechly.

Kurt Coleman had an INT. Both Allen and CJ had a force fumble. Allen's came at the end of the game by tackling Bradford with the Eagles in the red zone and Teddy Williams recovering it.

For the Eagles, Bradford was 16 for 21 with 140 yards with an INT (by Coleman). Had a 76 Comp% and 73.5 QB Rating. Murray ran 15 times for 67 yards and 4.4 YPC and 1 TD.

I've had similar experiences. I dropped playing Madden right before our win streak started last year and then played my first game in a while before our playoff game in Seattle.... So I lost us the game.

However, I forced a fumble with Gano, while playing against someone online, and a few days later, Gano recovered a fumble.

after being 4-0, they updated... 87 ovr

after going into seattle, abd being 5-0... 87 ovr...  its bullshit.. they do weekly OVR updates and no update for us..

I havent played madden in about 4 years, but before that i was always ranked from about top 200-700 worldwide, which is about as high as you can go at that time with all the damn cheaters(why i stopped playing). Playing all-madden aint nothing but timing and schemes. Easy Peezy

Madden 15 is a pretty good one. I hadn't played since 08 because it was supper shitty. Also, there is a big difference of play in Madden 15 for ps3 and ps4. With PS3, I was constantly messing with sliders. With PS4, I only had to mess with Pass Defense Reaction Time and that was it.

We win when I wear black socks, black Panther athletic shorts, black panthers Nike dri fit t-shirt, and blue Carolina hat. Most importantly when I wear my Steph Curry Carolina shoes!

ALL of which are reserved for game day wear only, NONE of which has been washed since week 1.

Wifey knows not to touch that ensemble, even better she understands and makes sure that my 12 pack of Yuengling is in the fridge waiting

I'm 0-6 in my main money fantasy league.  The first time I've done poorly in a long time.  Been either 1st or 2nd for the past 4 or 5 years.  I told one of my buddies as long as the Panthers stay undefeated I'm not even worrying about the fantasy winless streak heh

    • I believe I just read somewhere that the Rams don't do Top 30 Visits. I mean, it makes sense from the standpoint of trying to keep information close to the vest.
    • I'm not sure 19 is too high for Rodriguez anymore.  He looks to be moving up boards, but it could be smokescreens.
    • I see XL this way---great athlete.  Good person.  When we drafted him, we knew he was raw.  One year of WR in college (starting) and in HS, he was a QB, I believe. We knew we would need patience with him.  I think year 3 will be make or break.  He is older, and I think that people with his athletic ability have always been better than those with less---but those with less can become more successful.  Why is that?  in my view, it is mental. XL can learn the mechanics and nuances of playing WR if he becomes focused on it and works at it.  I had the opportunity to talk to Armanti Edwards one day after OTAs (great guy) and he discussed how overwhelming it was.  He seemed shocked.  At that time, I knew that Fox hated the pick (I heard him mock Armanti to another coach when he saw Edwards drop a punt from a jugs machine--then I saw Armanti look back at Fox as if to suggest that he was feeling the pressure to please the coach. We forget that these are kids in their early 20s.  At the time, Fox was a lame duck.  Remember when he had Clausen as the #3 QB and was forced to move him up the ladder?  I liked Fox, but I think the climate and culture was influenced by the politics.  Currently, I see another Wr from SC who is struggling, but he is ina  very nurturing, positive culture. Let's see what happens with XL.  I am frustrated too---but XL was a second round talent who was raw and we traded up to get him.  He had 500 yards as a rookie--lets call 2025 a sophomore slump and see if we can't get at least 50 yards per game out of him.  If not, cut bait.
