Our Super Bowl window is officially here in 2015. Time to trade for Calvin Johnson.

There's a possibility that bringing in a good receiver wouldn't be successful. Doesn't a QB and a receiver need to build up chemistry? And the receiver need time to learn the play book? I'm not sure dropping a receiver into the middle of this team right now is going to reap the instant rewards some if you think it will.

You would think more people would consider this. There are hardly any mid-season trades for high level WR's in the past 10 years. The Roy Williams to Dallas is the biggest one lately and that was a disaster. Calvin is on the books for 100 million over the next 5 years...24 million next year alone. Might as well say bye bye to KK, Star, Norman and others if we brought CJ in. And if he didn't fit well with Cam then we are screwed for a long time. Not to mention the lost draft pick(s). There is rolling the dice and then there is rolling rigged dice. This would be a huge risk.
