We need to trade for some WRs

No. He is injured and not practicing allows no time to develop chemistry with Cam. We are better off addressing it in the off season and/or draft.

He'll be back.  We'll make playoffs and need him there.  Previous to that, he had a couple hundred yard games with Kap, so come on.   He would be cheap as well.  Stop.

Nope.  Time and Chemistry.  New guys won't have that chance.  Why does Ginn have the best years of his career here?  Chemistry with Cam.  How are we able to make our offense work with Thor, the God of Thunder and Tight Ends and cast offs?  Because they have had time to develop Chemistry with Cam.

Not gonna happen.

But imagine if we suffer a Ted Ginn injury.  Boom.  Gettlemen has playing w/ fire with how weak we are at WR.  I mean Philly Brown and Funchess are an injury away now from being our starting WRs for our postseason run.

This, we need to at least try and look before the deadline

Meeh. His stat line looks a lot like Ginns with one more game and 1 less TD.

It wouldn't make a difference.

Do you have any knowledge on the 49ers this year or are you just looking at stats?  Because anyone with sense would understand the dumpster fire going on in SF.  They just benched Kap for BLAINE GABBART.   Please, wake up.

Yes I pay attention. You are assuming a player like Bouldin can come in with 9-11 games left, a hammy injury and develop enough chemistry with Cam to make a difference. They don't practice enough in season to do that. This isn't baseball.

Yeah, after a few weeks, he could, easily.   Cam was hurt all training camp last year, but sure had good chemistry with KB and others, did he not?   He's only questionable, he's tough, and would be ready soon.  After a few weeks he'd be up to speed.  Boldin is immediately better than ANY WR we have, even with limited knowledge of the plays from the start, that's how mediocre we are.   We're going to make the playoffs, and someone like Boldin would be valuable when that happens, experience alone.   Not to mention he'd probably only cost a 6 or a 7th pick and no money.  There's no reason not to do it and anyone arguing is just arguing for the sake of it and not looking at the facts.

Cam was still able to throw the ball in camp. Take a look at how much practice actually takes place during the season. Before the bye maybe but but now they only go 3 days a week. I don't think thats enough time.

So just give up on the season instead of giving up a 6/7th pick for a proven vet?

    • The teams this 2nd year player (can’t really blame the years before he was drafted on him) was playing were going 100% as most do most weeks in the NFL. The whole argument is about his play during that period and how well was he actually playing. I’m with you on the winning though. Just start winning and fans will get excited. Start getting in the playoffs and winning and we won’t care how his PFF or box score stats look. 200 yards a game to 400 yards a game, start scoring and winning playoffs games and 99% of fans will buy in.
    • Yeah, we are gonna be raw.  Wonnum, for the past 3 years, has been averaging 8 sacks a season (4 in one season when he missed half a season).  I am OK, but yes, they will be thrown to the fire.
    • I like this because it means one or both of the rookies will be thrust into a bigger role right away and we can see what they might be. I don't like this because it just makes our team that much younger and inexperienced.  You need vets to help the young guys learn, I just hope we aren't going too far in the opposite direction.  All our FA signings were guys just coming off their rookie deals too, I get why we're doing it, but having the savvy vets help in other ways too.
