This game is huge for the franchise.

The game this weekend is very important for a number of reasons, many of which I am sure you are familiar.  Thought we could discuss a couple of quick points

1. This game will likely play a huge factor in playoff positioning.  Anytime the #1 and #2 team in the conference play, it will have huge implications.

2. Respect.  Green bay is viewed as the super bowl favorite in the NFC right now.  A victory will go a long way toward earning respect around the league.

3. Confidence.  The most dangerous team to play is one with confidence, winning this game would be a huge confidence booster for the rest of the season.

4. First 8-0 start in team history.

5. Seperating ourselves in a dangerous NFC South division.

We got lucky that this matchup is in Carolina.  Rodgers and the Packers are winless in their last 9 attempts at playing a winning team on the road.  This streak dates back to the end of 2012.  Let's make them 0 for 10.

Not to sound snarky but every game that's up next is arguably huge to the franchise. I say that because we are in uncharted waters to start a year undefeated.

You're absolutely right about why this GB game is important but as long as we keep winning the franchise is breaking new records.

Great time to be a Panther fan and I'm not worried about Ron keeping the guys focused. He went 12-0 as a player and there's plenty of bulletin board material to keep that edge.

Part of me thinks it'd actually be better for the team's longterm season goals if Carolina were to forfeit this game. Hear me out: They're hurt and on a short rest, and this team they're playing is no joke. If they could get another week to heal up, and still be 7-1 with games against the Titans and Racial Slurs upcoming, that'd be huge.

That being said, I don't expect any team to ever actually forfeit and I look forward to this game.

that was complete and utter nonsense. please stop.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
