This nfl.com writer is being sarcastic about #Bannergate, right?

As some of you may know, logo'd stuff is my business.

I sell banners (and other things) to organizations, companies as well as individuals.

A standard, full color 3' X 5' vinyl banner with grommets is a whopping $45 + freight.

These are not "cheap" banners either they are indoor/outdoor, color-fast banners that can take up to 5 years of uninterrupted all weather abuse.

$500 gtfoh and stfu while youre at it Mike Dobbs

up in nyc, we have to pay $18sq/ft, plus they probably paid some sap to design it. still, $500 was exaggerated just like the rest of his stories.

Some material is higher, it all depends on the size.  They get these big rolls in certain widths like 3ft or 5ft or whatever then they cut them at the other desired length so if you want something strange like a 3.6578' X 4.674232' you pay a premium.

Standard size is 3' x 5' and you get the best deal because it optimizes the material.

I'm in the shirt/banner/sign business, also.  If the NFL wanted to pursue this and take a look at whoever he got that banner from and they found they are not licensed to print that GB logo, the print shop could get into some serious trouble.  Now, if he made it himself, that's a different story, but it's very unlikely that yahoo had the ability or the means to do it by his lonesome.

And I would certainly want to see a receipt from where he paid for it before I'd recompense him one penny.

$119 Dollars for that sign...He said it was $500 dollars...lol. This guy seems Shady.

My theory as to why he's valuing it that high is because the threshold between petty theft (a misdemeanor) and grand larceny (a felony) is $500, generally speaking. I don't know if the state of NC sets a monetary value amount and  I'm not a lawyer.

Bro

Can you do a Keep pounding banner with the Panthers logo on it in a banner? How much would that run me? I'd like to put it up in my house.

3' x 5' is $45 plus freight and tax unless you're outside NC then no tax.

You got the art or at least an idea of what you want it to look like?  Graphics is $40 an hour.
