If the Panthers needed motivation, this article by K.C. Joyner should do the trick

The propensity for our team to build momentum and play improved overall games in the second half of the season is something I'm really looking forward to seeing this year. We've put ourselves in a fantastic place for that to happen. Could make for a magical season.

I don't think this team needs any motivation, nor do I think they are on a high. They are well grounded, humble, and taking the "one game at a time" approach.  To a man, player or coach, they all talk about not being happy with their play and wanting to get better. They have nothing to prove to anyone but themselves.

The tool that wrote that article knows nothing about the Panthers.

True.

I also think, that now the Panthers have established Newton as a run/short yardage threat (and the WR's seem to be developing), Cam needs to run less-particularly short yardage, so he can be fresh for the next 8 games, and playoffs????

The Carolina Panthers are on such a roll that there is serious discussion about whether this team can go undefeated.

Although there is no doubting that the Panthers are one of the best teams in the league, the simple truth is they are not headed for a perfect season. In fact, after looking at the game tape and metrics, it becomes clear that the 2015 Panthers are likely to lose multiple regular-season games and eventually struggle in the playoffs.

There are a number of factors pointing in this direction.

So basically this guy says we'll lose multiple games to QB's that are better than what we've played.  Even though we've played Rodgers and Wilson.

Also said we'll lose in the Playoffs because of our defense allowing too many points and our offense not scoring enough.  Welp, @Jeremy Igo

I think it's time to show these players some motivation, in case they're on a high right now.

This is why only a moron would pay for espn insider

his argument is merely a stats based argument and doesnt take into account a few factors:

- injuries to Luke, CJ, and Dwan

- we really aren't giving up that many points, we held Indy to 6 thru 3 quarters before the floodgates opened, and held GB to just 14  thru 3 quarters

- he talks about the lack of a vertical game, but fails to realize that Ginn has dropped at least three 40+ yard passes this year alone, not to mention the emergence of Philly and Funchess.
