Decision to sit DT Dwan Edwards another week in part because Kyle Love is playing well and in part to give the ankle another week. Panthers sitting Brenton Bersin means QB Joe Webb will be the fifth receiver.

I got nervous when it sounded like J Stew had gone down with an injury...

Granted Tolbert has been playing well, and Fozzy was active (though he seems to be invisible... did he have any reps?  I haven't checked the stat sheet yet today)... so it probably wouldn't have been a disaster.  But I really wish we'd give CAP some reps.  Feel a bit like a broken record, but I think CAP needs the experience and we need to be careful to keep Stew healthy for the home-stretch and post-season...

But with Daryl Williams now healthy, and maybe Dwan ready to come back against Skins, and CJ almost ready to come back (Dallas)... it becomes a bigger and bigger challenge to activate many of the rookies and players with few snaps.   A nice problem to have I guess, but it would be so nice for them to get more experience.

This team is 9-0. I am going to trust the coaches know what they are doing.

Oh, definitely.  I don't mean to criticize.  Just wishing we could have all 53 players active on gameday!  I hate having to have guys on the roster sit on the bench all season, and game experience is so much more important than practice.  (Exhibit A: Devin Funchess...)

I'm just surprised CAP hasn't gotten some snaps, but of course thrilled Stew has stayed healthy and is pounding out the yards in an incredible way.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
