Defensive Ends generally take 2-3 years to develop anyway.

They called Olsen "Witten" at one point as well.

was one of very few who kept a calm head when it came to Devin and his drops and struggles. he's got bags of potential and had shown flashes and i knew it'd take some time for him to develop. it was a bit premature anointing him a bust or failure. now he's slowly starting to get it. in 1 or 2 years, him and KB, look out.

I really did not think Devin would develop or show any consistency or dependability this season, or possibly ever.  Drops typically arent something guys just get over, but if he maintains this level of play from the last two weeks, i am ecstatic.  Credit to him to keep pounding and credit to Cam for never losing faith in him.  He has come up BIG the last two weeks, and i am happily eating crow.

And to Kony...  I'm enjoying a heaping second serving lol.  The reason both of them stood out to me before was because i was worried with our franchise's history of second round busts, that maybe regardless of the GM, it just was a bad round for us lol.  Thankfully, they both seemed to have turned the corner and i am happy to admit i was wrong and couldnt be happier with the results.

Mad respect for you not going all diddy over them before.  I wasn't sure about Ealy but I have been sure about Funch and knew he was raw.  Good things are happening and these young guys are learning, gotta love it!

What's really nice is that neither player has hit the top end for their performance this year. You can see them improving and growing as players. By December, they are going to be awesome.

Meh, DGB still has more talent than Funchess and it's not close.  DGB will be better than Funchess, but it determines on Mariotas development as well.  Either way, Boomer Sooner, and we won today.  And DGB has learned his lesson it seems.
