Ya know, we are all fans and we feel strong about this. Luke is quite possibly my favorite player in the NFL so of course I wish he had won this award. But at the end of the day, I promise you Luje himself couldn't care less. Monthly awards don't matter to one of the greatest MLBs of all time. There's one award he wants this season and he earns that in February

He's on my fantasy team so I pay attention to him. He's pretty good but he's not playing as well as Luke or Coleman (and a handful of other defensive players). Their stats trump and that's what these awards are based on.

They didn't give it to Luke because the Panthers and Luke have already hogged enough DPOM's this season

And they wont give MVP to Brady because he's already hogged enough MVP's for his career

Cam is the MVP if he's better or even close in numbers with Brady

i know that you're right, even luke said that his DPOY trophy was at his mom's house somewhere, but it still doesn't sit right with me. Maybe they should start referring to as the DPOMWIAPBTAHTM (Defensive Player Of the Month Who Isn't A Panther because they Already Have Too Many) award.
