Cam Newton Is Your NFC Offensive Player Of The Week, Again

Just saw it on the NFL Network. Will post the link shortly when available.

This was so hot off the presses, there was no link when I started writing this.

It's Cam third such award this year (and counting).

One more step towards a potential MVP?

Hopefully Newton can do it again-against Atalanta; the Giants; Atlanta again, and Tampa Bay!?

Why not!? Let's shoot for 4 more Cam. You know these teams are going to want to knock off the Panthers; so the games may be competitive.  LOL

Congratulations Cam (and to your teammates for helping you win this award)

And lastly, let's not forget this is the 1 yr anniversary of Cam's potentially fatal automobile accident. God bless em!

Newton did it in a five week span. The last player to do that was Tom Brady in 2007. Brady won MVP and led Pats to 16-0 regular season

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
