Herm Edwards speaks a lot of truth. Glad the Panthers don't have to worry about it.

Video won't play on my phone but I assume this from ESPN yesterday where he went near apoplectic about player selfishness. Saw that. Made the set uncomfortable. I laughed. And I'm not worried about JNo. He will do what's best for him and his...as he should. I just don't know what that is. I'll worry about it more after we win the SB.

he's right, though. and yeah....that's not something that we have to worry about with this team. the only one i have any concern about is #24. is he about the team or about the money?

Our team seems to get this, including # 24. until this year, Rivera has kept him on pretty short leash, but you've never heard Josh belly-aching about it. He shows up, does his job, and only talks crap about opponents and analysts (who can blame him). After this season, he will get paid. If the Panthers can't match other offers, I wouldn't blame him for leaving. I hope the hell that he doesn't, but he has earned the right to make as much money as possibly can.

#24 needs to get his butt back on his horse, 'cause he's starting to look pedestrian instead of equestrian.

He'll get the most money being franchised and we can draft a replacement who will be ready to take over his position before its time to pay Star and Short.

Not to mention the fact that this is probably the only team who has a locker-room full of Pro-Bowlers and All-Pros who can shut his butt up really quick if he thinks he's anything more than a mid-sized cog in a very big wheel.

This is a great example of how to ruin your NFL team that all teams can learn from. This started from the GM when he hired Chip Kelly. GM should have realized that Kelly's scheme doesn't work with their personnel. Kelly should not have imposed his rigid scheme to the players he had. It is much easier to build a scheme around your players than blow up your team and find players that fit your scheme.

We are lucky to have Dave, Rivera, and Shula to build this team around Cam. If we had a bad piece among those we might have been in a RG3 situation where they try to change the player to fit the scheme instead of making a scheme that fits the player. Flexibility is a great thing

i used to like herm but the more i see him the more he seems like a total moron

Germ can be a little bit of a ham...but he's got a great personality and a player's coach. Herm's all-good in my book...its Terry Bradshaw, Boomer and Chris Collinsworth that gets under my skin from time-to-time.

As far as Terry goes, his better days should be spent comatose in his lazy-boy while his grandkids unawarely go running around like wild animals as he snores the day away twitching and mumbling about immaculate catches and Lynn Swan's bail-outs...'cause the game passed him by a long time ago.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
