I dont want to feel negative - I love the win - but this type game- anyone else get the feeling that these breakdowns in the 2nd half are going to catch up with us? I have 0 confidence in our field goal unit  even after the win.  I almost hope it happens before # 50 so we get it out of the way.  Go on and flame me -  its the way I feel - being sober may have something to do with my take on reality.

we've got a lot of adjustments to make for sure. i need to take a look at some of those lineups on defense, but it seemed like we had some really unusual personnel arrangements in this game. i saw way too much dwan edwards and way too little kawann short.

weird

Valid points but I actually like it,  ammunition for Rivera.  I don't think we will let up in the playoffs.

Nope. I look at it as showing our coaches where are weaknesses lie and shows them where they need to put their focus. Close games can also refocus the team.

dont know how long you have been following this team but tell me how many blaocked extra points or field goals we have had this year?

When you're down 4 touchdowns going into the 4th the only way to come back is to make plays. They finally did something on offense. Kept running the ball effectively. Blocked a FG and then recovered an easy fumble. Give them credit, they played to win despite being down. No playoffs for them, This was their super bowl. They lost.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
