This is an amazing feeling. Go read the PFT comments section. Fans of inferior teams and internet  bloggers and washed up players desperately ly trying to rationzalize how those stupid Panthers keep destroying teams is delicious.

The latest outrage that we have a symbol like the bat when "we're just the Panthers" is so edible, to quote a friend of the forum.

    • If by week 5 he's not looking like a top 15 QB. Especially if we are 0-4. Considering this is the easy portion of our schedule. I'd bench him and run with Dalton or Hooker. Then release him in the off season. No one is going to trade for him. To continue to play him at that point would be a waist. Even if he somehow would get better, down the stretch, there is no way you can trust that it's real. The body of bad work is just too large. Being a decent QB in 6 of 34 or 35 games, and being one of the worst in the league in the rest of those is too much evidence that, you just aren't going to cut it. You also cant keep playing him because other players careers are on the line. To continue to march out a QB that you know will be off the team next year would turn the players against you.
    • Do you not remember how quickly the tone of the player interviews changed that first week Bryce was benched last year? Players are still people too - they can respect their teammates and still be irritated at poor performance. Not mutually exclusive.
    • That would be best for both parties.
