For the record, the Draft is fun...but I wish they'd find a way to get rid of it. It is borderline crazy that pro athletes are just about the only profession where you don't have really any say on where you're going to work, live, etc. Free agency for all would come with issues, but I'd be interested in it. Want to go to the contender? Then prepare to take less money. Only care about your paycheck or getting your stats? Then welcome to the bad teams with cap space. -
$41 million and can't even show up like every other rookie is and has been doing? Terrible look. -
I was concerned it could become a thing if we drafted him. If the grades are even remotely close you draft the player who wants to play for your franchise. Maybe this will be nothing and all blow over, but it's nice not to have to worry about it...
