Does the field have anything to do with it?

While to pin all our defensive problems on the surface would be asinine, it may be worth wondering if there is a correlation between the two. Our last three defensive clunkers at the Saints/Giants/Falcons all came at domes or stadiums that use artificial turf of some kind or another. Compare that to the BofA which is grass and somewhere we've been generally solid defensively (save for a few 4th quarter disasters against the Colts and Packers). Certainly makes home field advantage that bit more important if there even is the slightest cause in the drop off when we're inside.

Honestly I think it's pretty lame to use that artificial turf bs....I honestly think it should be a rule that teams must use real grass...not sure why the playing fields are allowed to be different fundamentally...baseball is pretty stupid too with their different dimension stadiums and poo. That stuff does matter but it's not why we lost to ATL.

Or....

The Panthers D has suffered against teams with QB's that can deliver short accurate strikes.

We've been getting eaten up in the middle of the field. Gonna be a long day once we get to the playoffs if that poo keeps up.

Don't get it, still salty because I was right?

Right or wrong...

I really don't give a poo. Whether or not Cam is a father means about as much to me as whether or not there are spiders under my neighbors shed.

But that dumpster fire of a thread paired with your dogged determination to conflate a set of circumstances into your desired reality smacks of either a jilted ex or a 14 year old girl.  That kind of poo is what people come to laugh at.  Not people grasping at straws to explain an uncharacteristic performance of their favorite team.

    • He's handing off play calling duties to fuging Brad Idzik as well so, either that mouth breather can run the playbook and Canales can grow as an all around head coach or it will be a horrible decision and both of them and BY can screw off. I'm fine with that as long as it isn't just another excuse for BY to get another year with another coach worthy of working around his limitations as a qb.
    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
