Cam's Dab Is Going Global

It's official: Cam Newton has gone global. Everton striker Romelu Lukaku hit the dab after scoring in a Premier League match today.

 

 

I'm thoroughly ecstatic with what has become of CaMVP. He's a cultural icon in the making, and he's changing the game of football as we know it.

I know that, but this is one of the top young athletes in Europe. Do you really think he's dabbing because he saw a Migos video? He's obviously emulating the dabbing trend in American sports that started with Cam.

Cam certainly catapulted the phenomenon but Lebron was doing it prior as well as several Bengals players.

Why do people think that the OP meant that Cam invented the Dab? No one said he did but the dab never became a point of conversation until Cam started doing it period. The Dab was done by black people before it became popular but after Cam did it everyone from little white kids in church to old people started doing it.

Tryna transition the name away from Smitty Is Our Savior. Could've gone with something like Cam or Luke Is Our Savior, but I wanted to be known by a mononym like all of you other cool people out there.
