Panthers Jerseys In Vegas

I have seen about 50 people wearing Panthers gear.  I saw a Delhomme jersey, a Nick Goings jersey, and a Kevin Greene jersey.  So either these people were trying to distinguish themselves from the new fans or they bought their jerseys on eBay to be hip.

Last year at this time I saw about the same amount of Seahawks gear, now none.

The Panthers are the new hip team.

There's  a boatload of people in Eastern NC wearing trendy panther baseball caps. Even random people on the clock working in fast food restaurants they apparently have lax enough dress codes to wear those hats while they work thats cool.

I saw the janitor guy of my apartment complex today with a panther hat on , never seen him wear panther anything until now.

Who cares!? Why's it always gotta be, "they just became a fan...I've been a fan since..."? Bandwagon is a word that people who watch ESPN use. Ever though that maybe those people found something that resonates with them and this team? Could be anything. You don't know. Just enjoy your fandom, stop trying to discount someone else's reason for cheering for your team. Every person who cheers for our team is one less nut job against us. I imagine a day in which our team is so beloved that you see Panthers jerseys everywhere. The only thing you should say to someone wearing Panthers gear when you see them is. "Go Panthers! Keep Pounding!", not wonder or ask when they became a fan. Get over it.

Go Panthers! Keep Pounding.

    • I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.
    • I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
