Cam Newton finished this season in prime Aaron Rodgers territory, where every week produced a new tool or feature to his game that amazed us.

Since Nov. 22, Newton has gone 143 of 224 for 1,800 yards, 20 touchdowns and one interception. And while his season finale, which brought the Panthers to 15-1 on the season, wasn't his best game, it was still superb. In a 38-10 win over the Bucs, Newton tied his season-best completion percentage (80.77), threw for almost 300 yards and added a pair of touchdowns (with another two coming on the ground). His passer rating of 139.3 was the second best mark he posted all season. Newton continues to amaze us just like Rodgers did in stretches throughout the last few years and has been without question the most obvious candidate for MVP.

Newton has been a candidate for Player of the Week almost every Wednesday this season. Yet again, he took it home for the fifth time this season.

Hey Pat fans, welcome to Cam's world! He's been dealing with this issue since he was drafted. Grow a pair!

Thank you for fighting the good fight on that Silly Seattle Website and earticle.

You're a better Person than me for doing that (I hate the sign up, and having to join). So we salute you!

I honestly find most of them clueless (almost exclusively relying on stats), and they appear to have a bitter hate for both Cam, and the Panthers for their success.

You can understand the Hawk players feeling that way. However, their fans (accused of being mostly band wagoners), appear to have the Panthers and Newton on their mind all the time. Which is fine in some respects. But if you're going to do that, at least know something about the other team and player.

It appears, they're incapable of that; due to their band wagoner ability.

RG3 and Kaep had great stats early to. And we see what happened to them, as many of us seen it coming. So it's not the end all be all (aka Wilson's Holy Water).

WHY WHY WHY must they say, "Threw for X yards and added 2 TD's (with 2 more on the ground". It should be written as accounted for X total yards and had 4 TD's (2 passing, 2 rushing). They do this for college write-ups but it seems the writers for the NFL have yet to figure out that a rushing TD, much like a passing is worth 6 points.
