Why would you choose the Browns over ANYONE?  Good luck having 2 years to turn one of the worst franchises ever around before you get fired.  It's not like he's desperate and had one opportunity.

I'm just not entirely sure he's even qualified to be a HC (but of course that wouldn't stop some teams from hiring him). The D hasn't performed great this year to be honest despite having great star players such as Josh, TD, Luke, Star, KK, etc. I feel like our D should've been better than it was this year based on how good some of our players are. Also I think some teams may be skeptical based on how much of our defensive success in recent years has been Rivera and how much has been McD. As for Shula I know he refused to interview last week since he's focusing on our games but I don't think he'll ever get serious head coaching consideration in the NFL.

I know the Browns are a perma-bad team, but j hope this works out well for both them and Hue. I actually like Hue a lot, so, here's hoping the Browns can make bottom dwellers out of Pittsburgh and Baltimore for years to come

The Giants are going to be morons and hire Mike Smith or Doug Marrone.

The Eagles are going to hire Doug Pederson or Ben McAdoo.

Both are going to be looking for new coaches in 3-4 years.

The 49ers look like they might be zeroing in on Tom Coughlin or possibly Dirk Koetter

The Bucs still seem like they are still going to go with Koetter but lack of developments make me think they might really like McDermott and might be willing to wait.

The Titans are probably going to hire Mike Mularkey because they are morons.

The Browns seriously might have made the best hire this year though Gase could be good.

Some tweets said it might have been that the Browns offered him more personnel control and another tweet that said the Browns made him feel like he was the guy they wanted/needed. So those could be the reasons.
