Official Divisional Playoff Thread - Seahawks at Panthers

Wow, assuming this 10 point lead for Denver holds, who would have guessed that this game would have the largest margin of victory in the divisional playoffs?  KC vs Pats = 6 points.  GB vs. AZ = 7 points, Panthers vs Seahawks = 7 points.

Update:  Well, didn't expect Pittsburgh to score, but they got the FG, so it too ended up as a 7 point game.

I've been to a lot of Panthers games, but that's the best one I've ever attended. Got tickets on Thursday in section 504 and I am incredibly glad I did. WE BEAT THE SEAHAWKS IN A PLAYOFF GAME AND ARE HOSTING THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOO GO PANTHERS

I'm keeping this as a placeholder bc I'm gonna upload some pics and stuff

EDIT: Added in some pics and video from today's game. Which was awesome. So were the wings at Hooters before the game. Hadn't been to a Hooters in almost six years and I was surprised at how good the wings were. The view wasn't bad but tbh I was so focused on FOX NFL Sunday and my wings I didn't pay attention. My fiance being there too kinda means that's a no-go. We were having a blast together anyway.

So as advertised

Pics are of Cam high-fiving the crowd after the win, Gano getting ready for an extra point after Luke's pick-six, and Cam trotting onto the field just before our 86-yard touchdown drive

Videos are of Luke and TD getting introduced and Stewart running for a touchdown

Spent my downtime as they uploaded drinking tears from SaintsReport or whatever they call that cesspool. The feels are good

The KPA always have had the bulk of their troops close to the Z, so  I don't think they "moved them"  there. I would think you would  take a less passive aggressive attitude toward another vet on a message board

lol I love when veterans think they get automatic immunity because they're veterans.

(P.S. I'm a veteran.  You're just another person.  The difference is you were provided the PRIVILEGE to serve your country.)

But don't you know all vets are super entitled, and God forbid offer them a job for less than $15 and hour when they get out....

vet here too, some vets REALLY annoy me.

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
