if jared allen competes and performs with a broke bone in his foot he's earned more than every cent of his contract.

Actually, I think he's already earned his contract.  Panthers only had to pay 800K if I recall, since Bears had already paid something like 11 million... LOL

We really should send a nice gift to the Bears to thank them for Allen, Tillman & Olsen.  LOL,

DELAIREEEE DE LIONNNNNNNN

The way he jumps onto a QB is like watching a Nat Geo doc. He literally leaps onto them and brings them down like a lion taking down a water buffalo. Would love to see all players on defense rotating in and out next week. Don't get tired new man in.. Getting paid to play!!!

Word on the street(espn.com) that he suffered the fracture but will be re-evaluated tomorrow, meaning they are going to see if he can play with it or not, not all fractures are the same, my dad once broke his foot and walked on it for 3 weeks before he thought he might of hurt it.  I broke my left wrist 6 years ago and now pops if I move it a certain way, never knew I broke it till it fully healed and required rebreaking to fix.

just a break doesnt mean you cant play with it.

one tough SOB.... wouldn't put it past him to be a third down role player and still try to play through the pain

#Panthers DE Jared Allen broke a small bone in his foot today, source said, and he played some of the game with it. He plans on continuing

This will hurt the run defense but help the pass rush

His Pass rush has been just so, so but everything else he does at DE is top notch, he plays the best gap control of anyone on the Defense, this lead to the second INT earlier in the game, he didnt bit and kept his spot and eliminated the intended 1st read on the play, leading to the second INT.  it wouldn't have been noticed because it wasn't flashy but he made that play possible.
