Anybody else thinks Ginn goes off Sunday night? He was Arizona's 6th WR last year, and promptly cut as soon as Arizona come get copy paper in the the machine. He essentially had an extra week to heal considering the offense has hardly ever on the field Sunday, and the Cards secondary can give up a big play or two.

That Bethel guy they got over there just might be worse a DB than Mcclain. Definitely a match-up to exploit. But I'm sure Peterson sticks on Ginn like White on Rice because of that possibility.

 

I see a Funchess or Brown breakout tbh.

If they can scheme him into being covered by someone other than Peterson, yes, he will have a big impact from a recieving stand point..

Actually, just taking Peterson down the field out of the play will have an impact on the game.

does anyone know if the cardinals move peterson to the slot to follow WR1s?

if not, do what teams have been trying to do to us. spread 'em wide all game to marginalize his talent and scheme him out of plays.

I am going to re-watch the condensed version of the Cards/Packers game and watch for just that. I will let you know what I see.

They do. Peterson goes everywhere.

Justin Bethel might be the best special teams player in the league but with Honey Badger out he's been forced into the nickel spot. Lucky for us he covers receivers about as well as Ryan Gosling in Remember the Titans

They run the same deep routes as the Panthers have been running this season. You will see that watching the videos. Looks like Ginn gave Shula some of the Cardinals playbook in the off season.

I have a feeling Luke is going to know what Palmer is going to do before the snap a lot on Sunday.

So far through 1 quarter, Peterson has been sticking to one side no matter who is lined up there. It may well be because the Packers don't really have any receivers who stand out at this point in the season. Let me go back and watch a game against a team with a true #1. (And yes I know Ginn is not a "true #1", but he is our true #1 at this point.)
