Inside the NFL championship preview

Yeah at least they weren't trashing the panthers .

our defensive backs are probably going to be sick and tired of hearing all about those "great WRs" from the cardinals all week long by the time Sunday rolls around. I hope they practice really well and play lights out at the game to prove they aren't some damn scrubs (dbs besides Norman of course).

Arizona away games:

Bears; Lions; Browns; Rams; Eagles (Blow out victories) Not comparable to Panthers.

Seahawks; 49ers; Steelers (Struggled to pull out 2 wins. Lost 1. - Blaine Gabbert and Landry Jones were the QBs) Could not pass on Steelers or 49ers in wet conditions with soft grass turf. Loose/wet grass turf limits a lot of the Cardinals timing patters, sharp cuts in routes, and deep speed. Closer comparison to Panthers.

Tired of all this track meet talk and how explosive they are in games. They are explosive against the bad teams. They are mediocre against the good teams. The Cardinals have done nothing on offense in their last two games. What I have seen watching their games is a team that makes a lot of mistakes on offense and does not tackle well.

34-13 Panthers

The analysis is lacking whenever they have to fit it into a 1 minute sound bite.  These guys don't do their own research. They don't watch every game and they pick games with their johnsons instead of their brains.

It's pretty sad when Chris Collinsworth leaves your show and it gets worse.

The lines are going to determine this game, not the cardinals WRs

if the Panthers  front four does its job on Palmer the WRs of Arizona won't matter

if the Panthers o line controls line of scrimmage and Jonathan can run and Cam has time, Peterson and the rest won't matter and the clock will be controlled

if the reverse is true, it will be a long day

i will believe in our All Pros...they are all pros for a reason, plus KK

Agreed.

In fairness. Most people I've seen have picked the Panthers.

But it's clear, these guys just said to themselves, "who's the better team on paper (which still may be debatable)', instead of who's playing the best; home turf; QB's, weather, etc..?

So it was kinda weird seeing none of them pick the Panthers. I guess that's what happens when Irv's not there? LOL

But hey, let's see after Sunday night!?

We are the better team on paper! We are the best team in the NFL on paper. No other team even comes close to our amount of Pro-bowlers, All-Pros, All-NFLers...we have the Offensive Player of the Year, the NFL MVP, the NFL Coach of the Year, the NFL offensive coordinator of the Year, and possibly the Defensive Player of the Year.

    • I don't know. CMC is like others and may have lip serviced that line of " I had no plan or wanted to leave Carolina" I think he even said he bought a house too and wanted this to be home.   Here's what I heard- In a way Panthers org gave him a test and he didn't "fight" back. They approached CMC and told him they wanted to put him on IR since the "season" was over or out of playoff reach. CMC didn't fight it one lick and agreed. They secretly wanted him to kept playing or want to, but there was no kickback. I honestly don't know if its real or not, 5th hand information type deal doing on. Yes he had bruises and pains, but was able to play...... but went along with Panthers staff. Odd to be playing games with star players, but whatever....   Plus the staff doctors found out about his tendinitis and there was nothing to fix it. Even with him missing time, it was the best move to trade him before he got inflamed constantly.    Lastly, its mostly time a combo of stuff, Fitterererere did not sign him to be the highest paid RB. That was classic Marty "give me a" herniay doing. GMs have different values on roster spots and rumor was Fitterererer was one that didn't want to pay RBs. For all his faults, he's right about that......
    • I think google is confusing signing bonus with guaranteed money. If you get a guarantee of say $10 million, it doesn’t matter if the signing bonus is $5 or $8 million, it’s the $10 million number that affects the cap, as the signing bonus is always just a portion of the guaranteed money anyways. And again, I’ll admit I’m not 100% sure about it, but I’m pretty sure it is the case.
